Cerulean Warbler & Flycatcher Tours

Willow Flycatcher is one of the species birders can expect to see during the Cerulean Warbler & Flycatcher driving tour.
Join Michigan Audubon’s top local guides for carpool tours to locations in search of Cerulean Warbler and these
flycatcher species: Acadian, Willow, Alder, Least, Great-crested, Eastern Phoebe, and Eastern Kingbird.
Volunteer naturalist, Greg Nelson, and Conservation Director (and Resident Manager of the Otis Farm Bird Sanctuary), Tom Funke, lead weekend tours. Both guys are highly personable, qualified birding guides, and their tours are popular among visiting and local birders alike.
Tom Funke is a Biology/Environmental studies major from Western Michigan University where he received an Outstanding Alumni Award for his achievements in the conservation field. Tom has worked in the conservation field for twenty years, most recently as the Director of Conservation Education at the Binder Park Zoo. Tom is the Resident Manager at the Otis Farm Bird Sanctuary, where he resides with his wife, Susan, and son, Nathaniel.
